When a picture doesn’t quite convey what’s in your heart, perhaps a few words will simply get right to the point.

Embroidered lettering and sayings can be a picture of loveliness in their own right, before the meaning of the words are even absorbed. With textures of thread catching the light, curves of stitches flowing and looping together, the very old art of embroidered lettering has me hooked. I know there’s a pun in there somewhere, although for now here at Fiona we are using needle rather than hook.
