greeting card ~ moonlit meeting

It is a special occasion, when a fairy and a rabbit get together. Here we see them greet each other in a little patch of meadow, under the privacy of trees and the dim of evening.

After a busy day flying around the fairy realm, even the most energetic fairies need a place to rest their wings. Here we see one such place: a comfy tree swing, upon which they can stretch out and kick off their wee heels.

drawing printed on linen, framed in hoop ~ lamb & friends

Our illustration of a lamb visiting his friends the ladybug, bird and flower. Printed on linen-cotton fabric, then stretched in a 5-inch wooden embroidery hoop. The hoop is painted a lovely forest green and sealed with varnish.

Originally hand drawn in colored pencil, the soft colors and texture of that medium are complimented when printed on a fabric like linen.

Each piece is hand sewn with a wool felt backing. I also include ribbon and a small nail for optimum hanging options ~ in a nursery, child’s room, or wherever a bit of whimsy is desired!
