Coming upon a field of these sweet little yellow flowers, I photographed the field as a whole, as well as getting right up close to see each petal. After making some prints, I loved the closeups and could clearly imagine fairies on each flower having a nap.~ ~ ~ ~

Oval mats bring added focus and old-fashioned charm to any image.

We like them so much, we created oval-shaped versions of our favorite photos, and printed them on 8×10 paper with a complimentary colored background – here we chose a deep plum.

I was headed to my favorite bakery when I noticed this little guy in their flowerbed. I’d say he did no noticing in return, so focused was he on his task. I quietly crouched down and, after admiring the work he was doing, snapped a few photos. For me this image shows the strength and power of his delicate wings. I’m sure he and the fairies play flying games!
